## Summary
Assign ready orders to the right driver so delivery handoff stays controlled before dispatch.

## Before you begin
- Make sure the order is already in **READY** state
- Confirm drivers are available and visible in the delivery workflow
- Check the delivery address, order timing, and current dispatch load
- Make sure the team understands that assignment happens before driver dispatch

## Steps
1. Open the ready orders in Selio Delivery.
2. Select the ready order or orders you want to assign.
3. Review the delivery details before assignment.
4. Choose the correct driver.
5. Confirm the assignment.
6. Check that the order now belongs to that driver’s tray.
7. Review the driver’s assigned workload before dispatching.

## Troubleshooting
- **The order cannot be assigned:** Confirm it is in READY state and the driver is available.
- **The wrong driver was selected:** Remove the order from the tray before dispatch and reassign it.
- **The team cannot see available drivers:** Recheck the delivery workspace and active driver context.
- **Assigned orders feel unbalanced across drivers:** Review dispatch discipline and tray workload before continuing.
