## Summary
Create or pair a KDS screen from **Manager > KDS devices**, then assign the name, seller, prep station, and display mode that decide what appears on the screen.

## Before you begin
- Open Manager and go to KDS devices
- Know the screen name you want to use
- Know the seller and prep station that should be assigned
- Decide the display mode for that screen
- Have the pairing code ready for the device

## Steps
1. In Manager, open **KDS devices**.
2. Create or select the KDS screen/device entry.
3. Enter the screen name.
4. Select the seller.
5. Select the prep station.
6. Select the display mode.
7. Pair the device with the pairing code.
8. Confirm orders appear in real time when they are assigned to that prep station.

## Troubleshooting
- **The device cannot pair:** Recheck the pairing code and network connection.
- **No orders appear after pairing:** Confirm orders are assigned to the selected prep station.
- **The wrong seller or station appears:** Review the KDS device entry in Manager > KDS devices.
- **The display mode is not what staff expect:** Update the display mode on the KDS device entry and retest with an assigned order.
