Before you begin
- Open the historical report you need to export
- Confirm the selected filters, date range, and sellpoint context
- Confirm the export action is available for your role and permissions
- Use CSV or XLSX only; do not expect PDF, email, share link, or stored export history
Steps
- In Manager, open the report you want to export.
- Review the current filters, date range, and sellpoint.
- Use the Export action in the top bar.
- Choose CSV or XLSX in the export modal.
- Complete the export flow.
- Open the downloaded file and verify that it reflects the selected report context.
- Keep the exported file as an operational review copy, not as a guaranteed accounting document.
Troubleshooting
- The export option is missing: Your role or permission set may not allow export for that report.
- The downloaded file does not show the expected data: Recheck the filters, date range, and sellpoint before exporting again.
- Live Sales needs export: Live Sales is not exported from the live screen; export only historical reports.
- The team needs accounting-ready records: Avoid treating report exports as accounting-safe documents unless the business has a separate validated accounting process.
