Before you begin

• Make sure tip collection is enabled for the location or payment flow
• Confirm the user has access to payment actions
• Check whether tips are handled before, during, or after payment in the service process
• Make sure the team understands the restaurant’s tip policy

Steps

1. Open the order where the tip should be added or reviewed.
2. Start the payment flow.
3. Review whether tip options are available in the checkout screen.
4. Add or select the tip amount based on the guest’s choice.
5. Confirm the updated total.
6. Complete the payment.
7. Check that the final transaction reflects the correct tip value.
